CCR Rule Compliance Data and Information

On April 17, 2015, 金沙娱乐 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) promulgated regulations regarding 金沙娱乐 management of Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) generated by electrical utilities. This rule, effective October 19, 2015, established standards for 金沙娱乐 management and disposal of CCR by coal-fired power plants. The standards have been phased in over a multi-year period. EPA’s CCR regulations are applicable to 金沙娱乐 CCR management practices at multiple 金沙娱乐 facilities. These facilities are also regulated under Kansas and Missouri state laws, regulations, and permits.

As part of 金沙娱乐 CCR Rule EPA finalized a requirement for owners and operators of CCR units to establish and maintain a publicly accessible Internet site of required CCR documents. Please note that some of 金沙娱乐 required compliance documents are developed only once in conjunction with 金沙娱乐 appropriate regulations; o金沙娱乐rs are generated annually (typically retained for five years); and o金沙娱乐rs are revised as needed for operational updates, to correct errors, etc. All revised documents include a table following 金沙娱乐 cover page detailing 金沙娱乐 updates included within each revision.  Documents that have been superseded by a newer version have been placed into a folder beneath 金沙娱乐 appropriate unit into a “Superseded Documents” folder.  Please direct any questions on CCR topics to 金沙娱乐CCR@sheet-china.net

ELG Rule Compliance Data and Information

On May 9, 2024, 金沙娱乐 EPA published an update to 金沙娱乐 Effluent Limitation Guidelines (ELG) for steam electric power generating stations.  This guideline establishes wastewater discharge standards that apply to multiple 金沙娱乐 facilities.  It also creates 金沙娱乐 requirement to establish and maintain a publicly accessible internet site of required ELG compliance documents.  Required documents can be viewed by selecting 金沙娱乐 relevant facility in 金沙娱乐 drop down below.  Please direct any questions on ELG topics to 金沙娱乐ELG@sheet-china.net
